Love Your Mother

Love Your Mother

“Whatever else is unsure in this stinking dunghill of a world, a mother’s love is not.”

~ James Joyce

On this day eight years ago, I lost my mother Barb to cancer.  I still have the flat spot on the back of my head from her trying to “reinforce” lessons, and the love of Irish music.  She introduced me to The Clancy Brothers, and sang me to sleep with Irish lullabies.

If your mother is still alive, call her.  Thank her.  Love her and treasure her.
