Free Speech

“If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.” -George Washington

One of the most basic principles enumerated in The Bill of Rights, the freedom of speech has been tested over and over and over again.  From the beginning though it has been self evident the importance of speech, because the earliest known myths of humanity give the power of creation to those that speak.

Speech is the bridge between thought and action, and limiting the bridge limits human potential.

We don’t agree with all speech, but we need to defend the Rights of people to say things we don’t believe because it is in the friction between ideas is the new creations and growth.
