Through the Dark Night

“The promise of spring’s arrival is enough to get anyone through the bitter winter!” — Jen Selinsky

Winter is harsh, a time of darkness and cold that slices through the skin and soul.

And I am not talking merely the weather for that time of year.  Most of us have struggled through the freeze of the spirit, the seemingly endless nights when it feels like there is no warmth in our lives and no light to brighten our world.

And then there is a change in the air, a lightening and temperate breezes as the birds start to return and the ice melts.

One day you can smile again.

Hold on through the winter, because rebirth and reawakening are coming.
