Next Time

“In order to succeed you must fail, so that you know what not to do the next time.”  Anthony J D’Angelo

Failure is feedback if it’s not fatal.

You get punched in the head?  You learn to not block with your face.

Get rejected by the person you like?  Why?  Get better!  Try again, with them or someone else.

Bag letter from a potential employer?  Improve your resume and interview skills.  Make changes to make a better impression.

Fail to make the sale?  Debrief yourself and improve.

The dinner was burnt?  Learn and alter your attention and the temperature so next time it is edible and eventually enjoyable.

No one becomes a professional musician without screwing up thousands of times but sticking with it and making small alterations and practicing again and again to get better next time.

No one becomes a professional athlete without failing over and over again and getting better through their failures.

Be better next time.
