My 6th grade teacher Mrs. Foster changed my life immensely for the better. Hopefully you have that one teacher that instilled the love of a particular area in you, or challenged you in ways you couldn’t expect, and is one of the prime characters in shaping you into who you are today and are evolving into.
One book can change your life. Probably not mine, but if my work leads you to finding the one then I have been a success.
One child (or former child) can change the world for the better.
This is what education is meant to do: improve individuals and societies.
