“New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.” – Lao Tzu
Anyone that has had a horrible breakup or divorce knows how painful that ending is. It is a whole new circle of Hell that feels like it will never end.
Until it does.
It may take months or years for the pain to fade from having your heart ripped out and your soul shredded, where everything is tormenting reminder of them. Until the pain is replaced by an emptiness of the soul and time, a void.
And then the void slowly and unexpectedly fills. It’s different, it’s scary, and it’s necessary.
If you have lost someone close to you, you know this experience. Parent, sibling, spouses. We have all lost someone to Death and it alters our world and world view.
Being fired.
Being cut from the team.
Graduating.
Moving.
Endings are beginnings in the circle of life. They may be easy or horrifically painful, but they are inevitable.
If you are going through a Hellish ending keep going. Power through because stopping just leaves you in the agony longer. Move forward and cross the threshold into the new world before you.
