“Faster, faster, faster, until the thrill of speed overcomes the fear of death.” Hunter S Thompson
Babies only fear falling and loud noises. Grown-ups fear almost everything, whether it is bugs or being embarrassed. We need to set aside that limiting adult mindset and return to the childlike wonder and enthusiasm of youth.
Do things that are exciting. Jump off that cliff, physical or metaphorical.
Make your heart race, whether it is by asking out your crush or challenging yourself in some capacity.
The littlest ones are fearless. Slightly bigger kids seek out the exciting things that give them that thrill, that adrenaline rush. We later equate that heart thumping with fear, but remember the exhilaration and almost inebriation of being on the edge of ruin yet not caring.
Push yourself to the point where fear has been outrun and fades in the rearview mirror.
