Chocolate Chemistry

“Chemically speaking, chocolate really is the world’s perfect food.” -Michael Levine

Quick, name a food that makes one amorous, more intelligent, beautiful, and healthy simultaneously.

Go ahead, I’ll wait.

Not even coffee or red wine are as good for you as dark chocolate.

Cancer preventing from the free radicals, heart healthy from the stearic and oleic acids, and craved not just at that time of month but whenever we need happiness.  The gut actually houses and produces as much serotonin as the brain, so the precursory tryptophan in chocolate helps with mood regulation without the nasty side effects of prescriptions.

If you are biochemically out of whack, the best things are a hug and a (Hershey’s) kiss.
