“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”—B.B. King
Once you acquire knowledge, no one can take it from you.
You can and will lose wealth.
People you love will leave.
Material goods will age, fade, break, and deteriorate. But knowledge will remain, and you can build off of what you already have to constantly acquire more.
Unlike tangible goods, you can trade ideas with others and you both retain what you started with AND have what they gave you, plus whatever derivative learning the interactions create.
Knowledge is powerful because it is eternal.
