A Snowman’s Heart

“I loved you when you opened like a lily to the heat; you see I’m just another snowman standing in the rain and sleet who loved you with his frozen love, his second-hand physique, with all he is and all he was a thousand kisses deep.” – Leonard Cohen, A Thousand Kisses Deep

My movie star good looks are only suitable for horror films.

My singing voice is only good for “Worst of American Idol“ outtakes.  Or maybe to scare away wolves.

My physique is not chiseled out of marble, but formed from mashed potatoes.

At least I’m mildly amusing, and if left out in the cold I will make others smile even if I never warmed your cold heart.
