Immeasurable Love

“Love is like the wind, you can’t see it but you can feel it.” – Nicholas Sparks

Love cannot be measured or weighed, but the effects of it can be observed easily, as can it’s void.

When kids yell “Mom loves me more!”, it is not a quantitative measure but their feeling based on their limited observation from their perspective, and it is highly biased.  It is also highly temporally shifted, because that same child as a teenager will shriek that they hate their parents.  And once this phase passes the now young adult will swing back to love, but still unquantifiable.

Does two dozen roses show love more than a single one?

Love is a many splendored thing, and should be appreciated instead of evaluated.
