Work

“Success is dependent on effort.”  Sophocles

I was told early in my career: the harder I work, the luckier I get.

The more effort I exert, the greater the outcomes.

If 1 out of 8 people you get introduced to for your businesses become clients, go get introduced to more people so you can make more money.  And the sales ratios will skew a bit over time because your skills will improve and people will come back when ready to buy.

Muscles are a reflection of consistent effort, pushing and pulling against resistance and heavy objects.  IF you don’t participate in the difficult efforts, you won’t build the muscles.

Talented musicians become successful ones through effort and luck, and the more they work the greater the potential for luck to play out.

If you play 50 rounds of golf you are going to be more successful at it than someone that plays a round every few years.

If you practice a language every day you will be better than someone who doesn’t consistently work at it.

Don’t expect results if you haven’t put in the time and effort.
