Here’s to the Crazy Ones

“I’m so crazy I don’t know this isn’t possible.”  Daffy Duck

They thought that if a human ran a four-minute mile they would die.  Or that if a woman ran a marathon their uterus would fall out.

“Man will never fly in a million years.”  A few weeks later was the Kitty Hawk flights of the Wright Brothers.

Those who say that things are impossible are just not thinking at a high enough level.  Sure, whatever they are declaring impossible at the moment might be so based on current technology or understanding, but expansive perception gives rise to alternative approaches to a situation and innovation.  Just because some fuddy duddy authorities say something can’t be done is more than enough reason for the rebels and nonlinear thinkers to accept the challenge and eventually achieve the impossible, even if along the way we are told “you’re dith-spickable!”
