We almost always want more, and sometimes need to be told “enough”.
To stay in the bar talking with our friends, so they turn on the lights and say “you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here.”
To have one more kiss on that date, one more moment of holding them close.
Another day with our mom as she lays in the hospital bed, and the doctor gently says “it’s time.”
Playing with the kids at the park and they are going to close the gates.
