Gambler

“And in his final words I found an ace that I could keep.”  Kenny Rogers

“The Gambler”

We are all dealt a hand, some better than others.  But it is how you play the cards you are dealt that determines whether you walk away from the table broke or a legend.

In poker, having a great hand means little if you aren’t paying attention to the other players at the table and maintaining your discipline.  Going all in too early because of a glance will bust you, but not playing the hands will also drain you and leave you empty.  Knowing when to hold them and when to fold them comes from experience.

The ace up your sleeve is knowing yourself and maintaining you, of being the best you can be given the hand you are dealt and knowing that there is always another hand to play.  Every day is a new game and you are the wildcard.  Not going on tilt but also not being afraid is the winning strategy.  You might not win every hand, but you will walk away from the table a winner.
