“It snowed last year too: I made a snowman and my brother knocked it down and I knocked my brother down and then we had tea.” – Dylan Thomas
I can find no better description of what it means to have siblings that you spend time with in the winter.
We made a snow fort and pummeled each other with snowballs.
” That’s a nice snowman you made there.” Then you crash into it with the sled. Then they hit you with their sled and all of the sudden you’re wrestling and rubbing one another’s faces in the snowbank and if there is blood the cry of “Don’t tell mom!”. And if there is no blood eventually you end up inside with hot cocoa or tea, rosy faced and bonded stronger than ever for the struggle.
Create, argue, fight, make up, reminisce. This is the right way for families and firms to function.
It’s all fun and games until someone hits a snowbank and bites her tongue half off…
